Recent research shows that about a third of marijuana users have tried to quit the drug. The good thing about quitting marijuana, or even just trying to quit, is that you do not remain the same person. Leaving the habit-forming drug is one of the best things you can do for the health of your mind and body.

Former stoners have spoken in many forums of how their lives improved when they quit marijuana. In the Life After Marijuana part of the Quit Weed program by Sebastian Grant, for example, former weed smokers give inspiring accounts of the benefits they have enjoyed after quitting weed. It is evidently clear that there are pretty good reasons for one to give themselves a chance to stop using the drug.

Here are a number of ways in which your life could change when you quit marijuana:

i.Brain function restoration so that you are able to handle skillful activities and gain sharp memory.

ii.Relief from anxiety: When you stop using weed you heart stops racing, you are calmer and less anxious.

iii.More body energy: Quitting marijuana means you start living a more conscious life. You eat healthily and your body cells get the nutrients they need.

iv.Relief from insomnia: Using weed alters with sleep systems. Lack of use of it returns your body and mind to natural functioning. You are able to sleep better when your mind is clear.

v.Regular bladder and bowel habits: No more constipation and micturition difficulties after quitting weed.

vi.Improved fertility: While many people don’t seriously consider the effects of marijuana associated with fertility, statistics show that many couples experience problems getting a baby when either or both of them are using weed continuously. For men, weed deteriorates sperm count and quality. Quitting weed, therefore, has direct positive effects on fertility.

You can enjoy these physical and mental benefits of quitting weed if you just make a strong commitment to finish the journey. Life is so good after quitting pot; you cannot deny yourself the chance to experience it.
